Carol June Carter Bauman

Carol June Carter Bauman was delivered into the loving arms of Jesus on November 22, 2023, surrounded by her two children.  She was also met in heaven by her one true love on the day of her 62nd wedding anniversary.  She was born in Savannah, GA to Mr. and Mrs. Levi Carter.  She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, where she taught many of the Wilmington Island children Sunday School, Bible School, Catechism, and also served on the church council.  She worked as a Construction Reporter for McGraw Hill Dodge and Construction Market Data.  She also served on the Board of Directors for Ballet South.  She loved her family with all her heart, but most especially her Savior.  She had a passion for cooking and looked forward to the holidays when she would cook big meals and enjoy her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Christy, husband Bruce, mother Hattie Carson, and sister Brenda Rotureau. 

She is survived by son Chuck, daughter Erin Houston (Roger), grandson Weyman, brother-in-law Joey Bauman (Carolyn), sister Sue Woolley, niece Sandra Carlson, and nephew Joey Rotureau.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at Greenwich Cemetery.
